Cone Beam Computerized Tomography (CBCT) is offered in our office to produce 3D images of patient’s oral structures. This helps detect pathology, infections, and other dental conditions to help aid in diagnosis and planning. Imaging software allows for planning of dental implant placement and bone grafting if needed.
Intra-oral imaging with the Trios 3-Shape scanner is also completed in office. These 3D pictures of the mouth allow us to communicate with our lab and dental office partners without the need for the soft putty impressions patients tend to not enjoy.
The combination of these 3D images of soft and hard tissues allows for advanced treatment planning of implant cases for improved accuracy and variety of treatment options.
